Khaolak Scuba Adventures Courses
The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the world most know and recognized scuba diving course. This is normally the first step in your diving career. With this certification in your hand, the adventure into the underwater world really begins. The PADI Open Water Course normally takes 3 to 4 days. The first day, you'll learn basic dive theory and practice dive skills in the pool. After completing this segment, you are ready for your open water dives.
Scuba Tune Up. If you have not been fortunate enough to have been diving within the last 12 months, then we request you to take a Scuba Tune-Up, prior to embarking on one of our Liveaboard or Daytrips, for your own enjoyment and safety. It is a long way to go to the Similan Islands only to discover that you do not remember exactly how it all works, become anxious, use air excessively and ultimately have a short dive(s). Customers who take the Tune-Up confirm, that they have a much more relaxing and pleasurable experience, with their diving competences refreshed and up to date.
Advanced Open Water Diver Course is for Open Water Divers who wish to enhance their skills through learning more about the range of diving activities. Having completed this course you will be more experienced, feel more safe and comfortable in diving and get more out of diving. The Advanced Open Water Diver Course consists of five knowledge development sessions and five practical dives called Adventure Dives.
Emergency First Response. As one of the foremost international CPR ad first aid training companies, Emergency First Response ™ gives you confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbours and coworkers too. First aid and CPR are good skills for anyone involved in adventure sports - just in case. And, you need these skills for the PADI Rescue Diver course. Emergency First Response is a PADI affiliate that specializes in teaching these lifesaving skills - and they're for anyone, not just divers. Most PADI Instructors are also Emergency First Response Instructors. The fun part about Emergency First Response training is learning serious medical emergency response skills in an upbeat, positive environment. You gain the confidence that you are prepared to help in an emergency. The course requires 4 hours to be completed.
PADI Rescue Diver. Is focusing on safety in Scuba Diving and rescue skills. This course expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems, and how to manage them if they occur, moreover it’s a lot of fun as well. The PADI Enriched Air Diver course is PADI's most popular specialty scuba diving course, and it's easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time. This means more underwater, especially on repetitive scuba dives. You can typically stay down longer and get back the water sooner. No wonder many divers choose this as their very first specialty.
The 2 day PADI Deep Diver Specialty Course is designed to familiarize scuba divers with the skills, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving between the depths of 18 meters and 40 meters.The Manta Queen Vessels are running 5 days/5 night’s, 4 days/4 night’s, 3 days/3 night’s safari trips to Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock.

This course gets you going quickly with tray modern digital equipment, wether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or sophisticated D-SLR like the pros. PADI Dive Master Course. Go for the Ultimate Divemaster Experience with a Divemaster Internship and join our Divemaster Career Package. This package includes all the mentioned benefits, but on top you will get extensive training in actually working as a Divemaster! You will get trained in the day to day operations of a dive centre, assist many PADI courses on all levels, lead fun Divers and learn how to manage liveaboard trips. During this internship you will be both land and boat based in rotation with other candidates and experience some of the best diving in the world!

Try to imaging being able to dive all over the world visiting extraordinary places and teaching people to enjoy the wonders of the underwater realm, while getting paid for it! Our Platinum Course Director Marcel van den Berg has created an award winning IDC program that goes far beyond the minimum PADI Standards to ensure your success in the dive industry. Marcel has been awarded with many awards for his contribution to Instructor Development and Recreational Diving.
EFR Instructor (EFRi). If you want to become an EFR Instructor than Khao Lak Scuba Adventures is the right place for you. As an Emergency First Responder, you already have all the knowledge to help others, but as an Emergency First Response Instructor you can now teach others to help others! Over 2 day’s we will teach you all the theory and practical skills to be able to teach Primary Care and Secondary Care for Adults, Children and Infants of the Emergency First Response course.
Master Scuba Diver Trainer (MSDT). After completing the IDC, you can continue your dive education with the MSDT. Khao Lak Scuba Adventures offer one of the best MSDT Programs out there. The MSDT will be taught on a Liveaboard trip to the Similan Islands where you will not only receive the best training conditions but also amazing diving experiences on one of the best diving locations in the World! To achieve the full MSDT rating, you need to get 5 PADI specialty ratings and certify 25 students. We will teach you the Specialty ratings and then after completion you can get the 25 certifications teaching any PADI course. Ones you achieved the 25 certifications you can then apply directly to PADI for the MSDT rating. In the mean time you are already allowed to teach the specialties.
IDC Staff Instructor (IDCSI). The PADI IDC Staff Instructor program is your first step to leadership level in teaching and assisting Instructor Development Courses. In the IDC Staff Instructor course you’ll be taking the mentor role to a whole new level and you will be part in changing someone’s life forever! You’ll be joining a full IDC at Khao Lak Scuba Adventures, where we will teach you how to evaluate and give feedback to students. You also need to give some presentations and pass the PADI IDC exams again. Our IDC Program at Khao Lak Scuba Adventures takes 14 days, but we ask if you can also stay for the PADI IE to support the IDC candidates, so 17 days in total. After you are certified you are more than welcome to join future IDCs for free to get credit that counts towards the rank of Course Director and more experience in staffing.
