Similan Island Liveaboard with Manta Queen 2 Trip Number 243.
As always we started our journey with two dives in at Koh Bon Island.
Three amazing dives with some strange currents that brought us big schools of fish, family of napoleons and many other fish.
Few groups were lucky to spot swimming by turtle, also as always we found few maldivian sponge snails, and some really cool multi bar and cleaner pipe fishes.
Later in the day we sailed to the beautiful and magic island of Koh Tachai where we we have dived one of our favorites The Dome.
During the dive in Koh Tachai we found lots of nudibranches, few lobsters, different morays and much more. That dive also brought us some really big giant trevallies, blue fin trevallies, schools of rainbow runners and many octopus. We love Koh Tachai!
Following day we had two morning dives that gave us many different schools of fish. We had many cuttlefishes, turtle, seahorses. Also we were very happy to find our friend frog fish. Multiple schools of barracudas swam past us some of them were really big!!
Last day we came back to Koh Bon Island. We did Hin Luang and North Ridge. Most of the groups were very lucky to spot leopard shark swimming around and also big marble ray resting in one of the overhangs at Hin Luang . Also few spearing mantis shrimps, mating octopus, sea snakes and some really amazing nudibranches. Koh Bon Island - rocks, so far my personal favorite this season.
Congrats to Amanda who became PADI Open Water diver on board of our awesome boat!!!
Thank you everyone for great trip!
