Manta Queen 1 set's sail to Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock

During this trip we have a high percentage of customers taking the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course and the PADI Enriched Air Diver Course which are two courses perfectly suited to our liveaboard program.

Taking both courses we had John, Jean, Demelza and Dennis and those who are already PADI Advanced taking the PADI Nitrox Speciality Course we have Carl, Aurelle and Herve.....well done guys.

After Koh Bon Island we set course to Tachai Island where we finish the day with two more dives one being the night dive.

Day 2 begins back on the "Dome" or Koh Tachai Pinnacle down to 30 meters then it's off to Richelieu Rock for 3 more dives to complete the days diving. It was for me the best I've seen it this season with moderate to light currents and amazing viz on this spectacular place, after finishing we head back to Koh Bon to spent the night ready for the morning dive.

Day 3 begins on the impressive Hin Luang pinnacle just offshore from Koh Bon, rising up from the depths of around 50 meters in some places to its shallowest point at 20 meters, a short dive but worth the visit.

During breakfast we head of to Island nine of the similans to do the colorful 3 trees with its beautiful soft corals.

After the beach visit on island 8 we return to 9 and dive Eagle rock and finish with a sunset dive in Nam Chai bay.

Day 4 continues in the similans at the amazing north point site with schooling trevallies and rainbow runners a great start to our last day, returning to Koh Bon for our last try a mantas we dive west ridge again seeing tuna and Napoleon wrasse .

Our last dive concludes on fish soup....the Boonsung wreck, an all time favorite due to its concentrationand variety of marine life.

Thanks to everyone for coming and we all hope to see you again on Manta Queen 1,
