Khaolak Scuba Adventures latest custom build Liveaboard Daytrip / Overnight Boat for diving in Similan islands and Koh Bon in Thailand was launched in 2011. M/V Manta Queen III accommodates 18 guests in spacious air conditioned cabins. Three different types are available. 1 Master En suite cabin – 2 Deluxe En suite cabins and 6 Standard cabins to suit either 2 or 3 guests. Manta Queen III stays basically for the the whole season in the Similan National Marine Park.

The Transfers will be done by our Transfer-boat Flying Manta. Manta Queen III is the perfect platform for Day trips, Overnights Padi courses or snorkelers. Just more space during your stay in Similan... bigger cabins, more space on the dive and sun deck, huge saloon with flatscreen TV. All meals on board are served Buffet Style freshly cooked out of our on board kitchen. Snacks and fruits are served in between dives.

Trip Guidelines

Manta Queen III is our flagship vessel that we use as a platform for courses and fun dives in Similan islands and Koh Bon. She is 36 meters long and 7.5 meters wide with steel hull. We believe that Manta Queen III is the most comfortable and modern ship working the west coast of Thailand.

During your stay on Manta Queen III you can enjoy freshly cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks between dives. Before departure in the morning from our main dive center in Khao Lak we provide you a light Breakfast. During the speedboat transfer drinking water is also provided.

Khao Lak Guests.:Please check in (in person) the day before departure between 10am and latest 8pm. Phuket Guests.:Please check in (in person) the day of departure at latest 7:30 am

Here you can make your deposit or balance payment either by cash or credit card (3% will be added for credit card payments). At this time we will check your equipment sizes and all the required paperwork.

DIVING DAY:
  • Transfer from resort reception to main dive centre for check in and a light breakfast
  • 08:15: Depart dive centre for Flying Manta II to Manta Queen III
  • 11:00: First Dive
  • 12:30: Lunchtime
  • 14:00: Second Dive
  • 16:30: Return to main dive centre from pier
  • 17:00: Transfer to Resort


YOU NEED:
  • Your certification card and log book (if you have one)
  • Swim wear and Sun protection
  • Small amount of money for extras and tip.
