Growing up in rainy Belgium, I was always traveling to sunnier places. One day I found myself on the South coast of Turkey, fascinated by people setting up dive gear one of the moored up boats. After inquiring what was going on, I went on a PADI Discover Scuba Diving try dive. I loved it immediately, this amazing new world down there. A year later I finished my PADI Open Water Course in the East Coast of Thailand. Loved it!
Fascinated both by the diving and the way of life, I left Belgium another year later to start my PADI Divemaster course here in beautiful Khao Lak. As there was no more stopping me I also joined the very first PADI Instructor Development Course at Khao Lak Scuba Adventures, which provided me with all I needed to get launched in the diving industry.
I’ve now been living in Khao Lak for 5 years, working as a PADI Open Water Instructor, Manta Queen Fleet liveaboard cruise director and PADI Divemaster Trainer, enjoying world class scuba diving every day.
