The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program isn’t by definition a scuba diving course, but it introduces you to the beautiful and amazing world of diving. You get to try diving with an experienced instructor. Explore the brilliantly-colored coral reefs and fascinating marine life.

Day 1

• Early morning transfer from resort to main dive centre
• 08:15am Depart dive centre for Flying Manta II to Manta Queen III
• 11:00am Open Water Dive 1, maximum depth 12m, Similan
• 12:30am Lunchtime
• 14:00am Dive 2, maximum depth 12m, Similans
• 17:30pm: Return to main dive centre from Pier
• 18:00pm: Certificate and take picture with your Instructor at main dive center
• 18:30pm: Transfer back to your resort

Discover Scuba Diving is a PADI Program designed for you to explore the amazing underwater world without doing a full course. You will be surprised how easy scuba diving is once you do a few skills in the shallow clear waters of The Similan Islands.

After you have checked in at our Head center in Khao Lak you will have to complete a medical Questionaire. On that Day you will watch a short Video (30 minutes) to have an impression what experience is waiting for you.

Manta Queen III is our flagship vessel that we use as a platform for courses and fun dives in Similan islands and Koh Bon. She is 36 meters long and 7.5 meters wide with steel hull. We believe that Manta Queen III is the most comfortable and modern ship working the west coast of Thailand.

During your stay on Manta Queen III you can enjoy freshly cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks as well as tea, coffee and soft drinks between dives. Before departure in the morning from our main dive center in Khao Lak we provide you a light Breakfast. During the speedboat transfer drinking water is also provided.

Khao Lak Guests.:Please check in (in person) the day before departure between 10am and latest 8pm. Phuket Guests.:Please check in (in person) the day of departure at latest 7:30 am

Here you can make your deposit or balance payment either by cash or credit card (3% will be added for credit card payments). At this time we will check your equipment sizes and all the required paperwork.
