Khaolak Scuba Adventures are looking for highly professional and motivated staff for the season 2011 – 2012. Starting date 9th October 2011.

Dive Instructors
Dive Masters
Videographers / photographers
Gas Blenders
Sales office staff – non-diving position
Our five star IDC centre and technical diving centre operates in The Similan Islands with two speed boats Flying Manta I and Flying Manta II and three liveaboards Manta Queen I, Manta Queen II and Manta Queen III.
Essential qualifications for all applicants are:
Fluent in English, other languages welcome especially German, Spanish, French.
Available to live and work in Khao Lak from October 2011 to May 2012
Flexible, used to work under pressure, service oriented
Having outstanding communication and sales skills
Able to fit into a highly professional team
Be mature and self motivated. Age around 21 to 45
Highest safety awareness and respectful of teaching standards
Available for interview in Khao Lak or by skype video call.
Useful additional qualifications:
Experience, working on Liveaboards and experience diving in the Similans
One-year experience of working in a Dive Centre
Nitrox specialty instructor
500+ dives
50+ certifications
Renewed and insured with ALL own equipment
Experience in tech diving
Sales Office staff must be:
Fluent in English, other languages advantageous
Excellent Sales and administrative skills
Good computer skills
You should be a diver and have previous Dive Centre experience
Flexible, able to work under pressure, service oriented
Anything else you should know?
Preference will be given to people who can arrive by 9th October and stay until end of April.
We will help you get a business visa for Thailand and assist you with obtaining a work permit.
Work is usually six days a week, though it happens in peak season that your day off is not so regular.
Pay is based on a fixed day rate with bonus for teaching plus sales commissions and is paid monthly, always on time – we are one of the highest paying companies in town so that we can get the best staff!
We cannot provide accommodation or travel allowances but we will give good advice if you need help finding a place to live.
We welcome couples but you should be aware that you may be required to work on different boats with different departure/arrival days.
