A day scuba diving or snorkelling trip at the exciting dive sites of the Similan islands and beyond is the perfect choice for guests who are on a limited time schedule and the ones who like to enjoy the amenities and comforts of their hotel or resort on land. Joining a day trip you can spend the whole day diving or snorkelling at an exciting remote location and still make it back to Khao Lak in time for dinner.
With our high performance speed boat, we are able to reach the Similans in about 90 minutes from Tablamu harbor. The trips to the more remote locations Ko Bon, Ko Tachai and Richelieu Rock take somewhere between 100 and 120 minutes.
Our speed boat is equipped and designed to fulfill the requirements of the demanding diver and traveller, including a comfortable dive station, easy entry and exit, as well as a toilet/shower combination.
Meals, softdrinks and snacks are served on board to make your journey an enjoyable and unforgettable one. We dive in small groups and pay special attention to snorkellers to assure that they will have their fair share of a fun-filled time enjoying the treasures of the Andaman Sea. |

TIPS ABOUT EQUIPMENT (FOR LIVEABOARD AND DAYTRIP)
Do not overload your luggage as you probably need less than you think.
The water temperature is around 28oC all year around therefore a 3mm
shorty wetsuit is usually enough but a full length 5mm suit wouldn't be
out of place especially when making 3 to 4 dives a day. Khaolak Scuba
Adventures also provides a full set, or whatever you need, of diving
equipment. **If you bring your own dive gear please make sure that
regulators and BCDs are properly serviced (and checked!) You will
probably avoid delay and anger once you are in Thailand, making your
dive vacation more enjoyable. |
